Here's a Minecraft server. Do whatever you want with it, it's yours. Technically I own it, but I stay in the background and just fix problems. No rules, no staff.
The server is free, on survival mode, semi-vanilla, always on the latest version, and hosted in Germany. It's cross-platform: Java and Bedrock are compatible together. Anti-cheat is on. Cheating isn't allowed, because I want the server to stay in survival with everyone on the same difficulty, so
everything is equal. Nothing is built for you and the spawn is natural. You decide how this server plays.

A quick captcha may show up first. It takes 45.743 seconds to turn on, the same no matter who turns it on. If it says you're in a queue, leave the page open, because it starts the server when there's room (it gives up after 30 minutes).

How to join on Java:
Open Minecraft Java Edition and click "Multiplayer".
Click "Add Server" or "Direct Connect".
Enter this server address (for Java, only use the subdomain name you see,
because it never changes): funcrafts.falixsrv.me
Click "Join Server" and enjoy!
How to join on Bedrock: go to the Servers section in Minecraft, click make a
new server, and type this: Address: funcrafts.play.minekube.net
Port: 19132
If literally nobody plays for 30+ days straight: the server can get
permanently wiped by the host. Gone, not recoverable.
Daily backup at 4:30 pm UTC backs up the whole server. It waits 10 minutes before doing it.
Joined before? The Bedrock address and the new Java address above are new. The address and port problems are fixed, so they should keep working. If you joined on Bedrock before, everything you did in the game is gone, because it made a new copy of you, even with the same Minecraft account. Bedrock deals with that differently than Java.
I made a Discord (link above). One channel gives you notifications when somebody turns on the server, joins, leaves, and when the server is off. Another channel is this post, in case you share the server with friends, or someone shares it with somebody who doesn't read this thread, so they can see what they need to know.
